Balance, then onward!

Now that my sample sale is over, I have pondered how to proceed from now through the holiday season and still enjoy clay and the pottery process, while earning enough funds to sustain this creative passion.  I had spent many hours creating and glazing pieces that I thought  people would enjoy, so it was nice to connect with customers and see their reactions, get their feedback and their requests.  It takes patience and experience and listening and commenting to find that balance between what you like to create and what people want and will buy.  My current “balance” is to continue with sunflower and nautical and muted themes and combine it  with my love of fall and leaves and trees.   Each time the glaze kiln is fired (and the kiln goddesses have been kind–fingers crossed) I will post photos of items available for sale. If you would like an item, email or call to reserve it, and we will then talk payment and delivery options.  Hope this works–if not, on to Plan B!
