Winter Wonderland

Newport’s “dusting” yesterday was 4 inches of wet, heavy, yet beautiful snow, the type of snow that screams “make a snowman!”  This was the scene this morning at the King Park gazebo, and to be honest, I did remove the can of Budweiser before I took the photo.  But I replaced it.  So enjoy your day.

I am still in clay “hibernation” mode.  Along with scanning 50 years of photos in assorted and scattered albums, I/we are working on my husbands genealogy and family tree.  We have gone from information on 2 pieces of paper to a notebook of information, along with an ever growing tree!  Every piece of information is progress.  However, I have started a “Teatime for Handbuilders” class at South County Art Association, and that will definitely help me out of clay hibernation and reawaken my clay-ativity.    It’s a fine sunny day, so I have uncovered the car and I am off on errands–before the next winter wonderland appears tomorrow!
