4th Annual Pottery Only Yard Sale this Saturday

DSC02540-001It’s that time of year to clear out every corner of my studio of every test, sample, second, and any other piece of pottery I am not in love with–pass it on to a new home!  This includes pieces with every pottery technique I’ve tried out in the last year, every glaze combination that I love and others I don’t care for (but someone else might), every mug handle that doesn’t fit my grip (but might fit yours),  in the shapes of serving pieces, bowls, vases, mugs, and many one of a kind items.    This will then give me space to make–more great stuff!

It’s also a great chance to meet  and to talk Fat Robin Pottery users and get customer feedback, which is important to move forward in a business.

My “Garden Leaves” will also be available–serving pieces impressed with the leaves of sunflowers, parsnips, grapes, squashes, and more, in a wide range of colors, along with the first appearance of the 2014 hubbard squash bowls.

This Saturday, Oct. 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the driveway and garage at 26 Simmons St., Newport (off lower Thames St.)  Rain date, Sunday.  Sorry, no valet parking, but as a consolation I now take visa/mc thanks to my Square Reader ( along with personal checks)   Can’t make it?  Email (fatrobinpottery@gmail.com) or call 401-846-9323 to set up another time to come shop–I’m home every day.

As a service to all local small businesses, artists, non profits,  and crafts people, please “like” Fat Robin Pottery on Facebook and feel free to share.   Organic Reach on Facebook is free and makes a difference to all of us–thank you!
